I’m a writer, editor, and digital content manager with 10 years of experience in publishing, content marketing, and social media management.

Editorial Work

I began my journalism career as a business journalist covering business and entrepreneurship. I produced feature articles, news reports, and investigative pieces on businesses and the people that run them.

Looking to widen my writing repertoire, I ventured full-time into freelance writing and editing covering topics in business, lifestyle, travel, food, and fitness for various publications. It was here that social media began to play a significant role in my work.

Content Management and Social Media

As digital content manager at a leading advertising agency, I led a team of community managers in crafting content and engaging with communities on online. I established and set the tone and voice for each brand, maintained quality and consistency of content across all platforms, and led the team in the use of real-time marketing by latching onto trending subjects.

In 2015, I was named the number one digital manager of the year by a leading trade publication. In 2016, I placed second—to my boss.

I received my Masters in Journalism, Media, and Globalisation in 2017 from City University of London (UK) and Aarhus University (Denmark). I also spent some time in London as an Account Executive for a boutique public relations firm handling a range of clients.

I continue to contribute to publications and brands on a freelance basis. Currently, I’m learning Mandarin and how to make bread—not at the same time.
